In April 2006, we sailed from Southampton to northern France for some offshore training. Here are a few

Just off Saint Vaast is the island of Tatihou, linked by a causeway at low tide (if you can make your way between the oyster beds!). As well as being a nature reserve, the island is host to various military relics from bygone conflicts. This is the barracks and Tour Vauban.
Here's the sea wall on Tatihou looking towards the Fort de l'Ilet, an adjacent smaller tidal island.
