Polo Match
Action on the Highest Ground in the World

Leh is home to the highest polo ground in the world. Here the teams line up before the start of play. The team in grey were a local army team and that in red were some sort of animal welfare organisation. Click for a larger image

The action got pretty close at times. The playing area came right up to the terracing at the side of the ground. Click for a larger image
